Visualise your climate impact, Shape Your Future: New app enables smarter decisions

There’s no time to lose in the race to mitigate and adapt to climate change, but it can be hard to take decisions when you don’t have all the information you need. Plus, climate change is complex and the long-term impacts of our choices aren’t always easy to understand.

That’s why the KNOWING project has created an app that lets varied audiences – from citizens to policymakers and businesses – explore pathways and understand the true impact of their choices.

The app takes a “choose your adventure” approach, with quiz questions and interactive infographics which reveal the often unseen or poorly understood consequences of our choices.

From whether to buy an electric car to safeguarding coastal regions against flooding, Shape Your Future makes it easier to do just that, knowing you made the right choice.

About KNOWING

Working in 6 European countries, KNOWING is a Horizon Europe-funded project that helps cities and regions better understand and respond to climate change. The aim is to improve understanding of complex interrelations and support strategic planning of combined adaptation and mitigation measures.
