Key messages

The MAIA project’s traveling exhibition is designed to raise awareness of climate challenges and promotes concrete solutions by combining science, art, and education.

Structured around thematic panels, this first edition of the Exhibition explores the multidisciplinary approach to climate change mitigation and adaptation, connecting research, environmental policies and local initiatives.

The Fa’ la Cosa Giusta! Fair, held in Milan’s Fiera Rho attracts a varied public interested in conscious consumption and sustainable lifestyles. Since MAIA’s communication strategy involves engaging local and international communities to generate a lasting impact, this represents the ideal place to kick off this series of eight exhibitions across Europe. The itinerant exhibition is open to the general public, and members of the MAIA project will present it to a series of schools visiting the fair.

This three-day event, focusing on “Advancing climate adaptation with seamless and tailored climate predictions”, explores the latest seasonal-to-decadal prediction science and its real-world applications. It consists of three sessions, dedicated to users and providers of climate services, as well as wider stakeholders and citizens.
