Dr. Claudia Berchtold of the Firelogue project and Fraunhofer INT will speak at this hybrid event, which focuses on science-informed strategies for wildfire risk management in Europe and brings together researchers, decision-makers and stakeholders.

With an anticipated dramatic increase in the risk of large landscape-scale fires in Europe in mind, the event will share key messages from the European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC) regarding actions European policymakers can take to improve wildfire prevention and management.
