The GreenInCities project focuses on fostering innovative approaches to urban climate regeneration by integrating co-creative, collaborative methods to address challenges in deprived and dysfunctional areas. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, researchers, and local communities, GreenInCities aims to co-design, co-analyse, and co-monitor urban greening initiatives that enhance environmental resilience, improve quality of life, and promote social equity. With a strong emphasis on nature-based solutions, the project aligns with EU climate goals and engages with global networks to scale impact, serving as a model for sustainable urban transformation.
