MAIA exhibition continues with multiple dates on the Italian holiday destination

After a highly successful kick-off in Italy this spring – and a stop in Barcelona – our travelling exhibition wraps up its European tour with a six-week visit to multiple locations in the beautiful island of Sardinia.

Dates include:

  • Cagliari airport (Arrrivals Extra Schengen / London & Switzerland area), August 4-14, open 24 hours, 7 days per week.
  • Tortolì Municipal Library “Emilio e Joyce Lussu” in collaboration with Tortolí Town Council Department for the Environment, August 27-September 3 during Library opening hours.
  • Comune di Ballao, Museo del Fiume – Centro Dosa, August 29-September 26 during museum opening hours.
  • Cagliari, Laboratorio de Ecología Urbana, August 29-October 15 during Laboratory opening hours.

Structured around thematic panels, the exhibition explores the multidisciplinary approach to climate change mitigation and adaptation, connecting research, environmental policies and local initiatives.

Crucially, there is a strong focus is on solutions, citizen empowerment and the need to combat misinformation and disinformation around climate change. The aim is raise awareness of climate challenges and promotes concrete solutions by combining science, art and education.
